Late Wendsday...

Had a very early night last night. Kind of went to bed the same time as the kids around 19,30 and I didn't wake up until now, 11,30. My gosh! I feel droged after this long sleep, but it was good. I probably needed it and that's why I am so late with my For Fun post.

This week we are sponsored by the lovely people over at Clear $ Stamps. Do pop on over have a good look at their sweet lovely images. They are also offering a prize of $15 do spend in their store to the one who winns this weeks challenge.

Or theme this week then is BUTTONS. So nice and so easy, right? We all have tons of them don't we? And there they are never getting used, so it's time to dig them out.

I couldn't recist this lovely image from the CDS store. Found it perfect for using up some great coloured buttons that has been hanging around. It's called "Garden of life". Isn't that a totally wonderful name of an image? The designer papers are from when I started to scrap and came from an magazine. I sometimes dig them out to use, and some of them goes to my boys. But I find it good to go back to the beginning every now and them. And I do love how bright and cheerful this came out. The dragonfly and butterfly did I bought from Altheas Mix before she closed down here store. Miss you!

OK, enough of my strange rumblings here. Sorry, my spellings today isn't what it should be. Anyway, we love to see you over at FFC this week..

Love n hugs
Marie

Finally back!

Good morning! Isn't it a wonderful day? The Bearly Mine Challenges are back again and this week it's the B teams turn to give you a fabby challenge. We have a  3,2,1 theme this week. (Three of, two of, 1 of) your choice. 1 CANNOT be the Image. !!!!

And sponsoring this challenge is our own Donna over at Bearly Mine Designs. The prize up for grabs is 2 Digi's sets of winner's choice. We are now using Mr Random to pick our winners as it's way to hard to choose between all the stunning work you all create.

For my card I have used a whole bunch of Magnolia stamps, well three at least. Some masking with last years spring kit stamps and some tulips that I'm not sure from when they are... But three Magnolia stamps used. All coloured with my Letraset family. I have also used three pearls on this creation. Then we have the twos and that is the designer papers from Bearly Mine Design. The green one from the Mini Dot kit that is the latest news from Donna and then we have one of my favourite papers from Donna that is from the Summer Light kit. My one is the ribbon and that is from Joanna Sheen. I kind of made one flower cluster as well but that is kind of cheeting isn't it?

This my friends is what I have for you today. I really hope you will all join us over at the BMD challenges this week.

All the best
Marie

April Showers

We are soon coming in to the month of April, how fast hasn't this year gone so far? I am really having a hard time keeping up with things. I know it's only 21st of March yet, but give me 10 more days and we are there. I am not sure I like this period of the year. I don't like the heat and especially not the thunder that comes with it. Gives me panic attacks. Yes, that is for real. I try not to think about it, still it's present in my mind all the time. Ok, no more of that now. It is still March and we have a new challenge up for you over at the Paper Shelter.

(sorry about the Picure, we are having a totally over sunny day here, shouldn't complain should I?)

The theme we have is paper piecing. Have only made that once before, so bare with me. I have used the sweet image Sharing a rainy day and paired it up with some DP from Magnolia that has been stacked for a while. LoL The gals are coloured with the lovely Letraset Family. Some lace and flowers from WOC, a key from Pagoni and ribbon from Joanna Sheen. Pearls as always from Bunny Zoe. For the paper piecing I have used a DP from the Paper Shelter, it's the flowery part of the umbrella. I just added some stickles in the middle of the flowers.

As always we have a gift voucher up for grabs if you take part and play with a Paper Shelter image. It's worth $20. You get three digis of your choice if you play with a different brand of images. Quite cool that too I think! You find all the links you need to get to the Shelter in my sidebar.

Wendsdays first...

... another long week has passed. I can't believe how many illnesses we have in this family at the moment! It's like every cold, every flu, every tiny little piece of chicken pox has came for a visit. Oh, on top of that I am getting really sick from my meds and have horrable redrawls from it at this point. I had to stop taking them cold turkey or what ever it is called.

Have you ever tried sleeping with out getting near your bed because it hurts too much? It's horrable! Every single little touch on my body hurts like crazy, and that is not from my meds. Just a part of one of all fun diagnosises the sweet kind doctors have given me the last year. Living is so fun! And all the loving doctors just send me around. Next time I see one, I will be armed that's for sure. With tons of written information that they have to deal with and try to find something that helps. Good luck doc!

I have however the best cat ever! He hasn't left my side since I started to feel this bad a few days back. He is watching me and when he doesn't think I'm OK, he licks my face to see if I am OK. I know, kind of nasty but he helps me going. LoL What would I do without him and his sweet brother and my family? But hey, it's me and the cats during the days.

Alright, back to why we are here. Cardmaking and crafting. As I am not in that much funktion at the moment have I used a topper/pre coloured image from the Paper Shelter for my Western card. I love this little guy. Isn't he the sweetest? The designer papers are a freebee from some magazine a while ago. Love the muted colours. The tag is from a sweetshirt that a friend bought for one of my boys. I just loved the text on it. Some buttons and a lasso made from some house hold string pulls the card together. I do hope you like this one, I am kind of in love with it myself. LoL

This card is made for our Western challenge over at FFC. I do hope you come and join us or at least check back over the blog to see what the rest of the gals has been up to. All links in my sidebar.

Thanks so much for listening to me today and making life a bit easier. I do hope that I will come out of this mess really soon. I am just so tired right now...

Love n hugs
Marie

Just a qicky, again!

Hi! Today are the Bearly Mine challenges back again after a needed break. The theme of the week, jepp! One big change over at our challenges, we are now a weekly challenge blog with two teams. As I don't want to much commenting to be done the same week and this week is TPS week. "My" team doesn't start until next week. The team is really Jackies. LoL The theme set for this week is dots to celebrate Donna's latest lounch called Mini dots with almost 100 different coloured papers with tiny and very sweet little dots on them. Pop on over at see what the gals has been up to. There is some lovely inspiration there.

This card was made a few weeks ago for another challenge. Here I have used the mini dots as you can see. The image is from The paper Shelter and is called the Most adorable Cavalier.

Time for some fun!

It's Wendsdag again and we are almost in Mid March. How fast does the time goe? Really? I have managed to finish a card again, but I have been lazy and used a pre coloured image from the Paper Shelter. It's called "The most adorable panda". I had actually lost the one I coloured myself and had now time for a new one. Thank heaven for this pre coloured images, or maybe it's enough if I thank Veronica over at the Paper Shelter as it is her who do the stunning colouring.

My printer however wasn't in it's best mood either so all colours are a bit strange and that goes for the designer papers as well that I have used from the Extream III CD from Bearly Mine design which by the way is starting up their challenges again next week. Running low on camera battery is no good for your creations either. LoL

My card is made for the new challenge over at For Fun this week which has the them Circles and there is tons of them on my designer paper and the dear sweet panda is sitting in one as well. We don't have any sponsor this week, but do come and join us anyway. We love to see what you come up with.

Snow White

Hello and good morning! I am back again with a Paper Shelter Card. Time passes so quickly during these days that I hardly can keep up. I've had this image coloured on my desk for quite some time now and thought it was time to use her. I paired her up with some old papers from K & Company. Love the stunning colours in this pad but why on earth did I paired them up with Snow White? Oh well, what is done, is done.

The image is called a Clever Snow White. Brilliant image! She is coloured with my Letraset family and then some glossy accent is added to the apple and the "crown" she's wearing. Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Pearls from Bunny Zoe.

Our theme at the Paper Shelter is Anything goes so I bet you will keep us busy over there this week. I look forward to that, but you have to wait for my comments as I go away for a few days of vacation, to the capital of Sweden. We are (hopefully) up there when you read this. We are going by train so you never know. LoL

As always we have a gift voucher up for grabs if you take part and play with a Paper Shelter image. It's worth $20. You get three digis of your choice if you play with a different brand of images. Quite cool that too I think!

Cats and Dogs

Good morning to you and happy Wendsday! Hope you're all having a wonderful day. I am in Stockholm now and having a good time. later on today I'll meet a dear friend of mine for dinner. It will be wonderful.

This post is here for a reason you know. We have the theme of cats and dogs today at For Fun Challenges. No sponsor this time either, but it's fun anyway.

My image is from the Paper Shelter and the little darling is coloured with my Letraset family and some Polychromes, just to have some change everynow and then. have to practise that tec abit. But mostly I enjoy it just because of every now and then. The sweet little doggie queen is paired up with some dp from Bearly Mine Design that soon will start having challenges again. We start up 20th of March again. So glad you decided to continue with the challenges Donna!

So now I hope that you'll hurry up and join us over at For Fun this week.

I'm guest designing

Good morning everyone! This week is the Paper Shelter sponsoring the challenges over at the Paper Crafting Journey. Me and Shirley got asked if we wanted to join in as guest designers this week and we sure wanted to do that. Anything to get to play with the TPS images. LOL

So over at the Paper Crafting Journey this week the theme is Anything goes. A nice and easy one! I have used the Fairy of the cookies. Isn't she a real cutie? I have as always coloured with my lovely Letraset Family. Some details on the wings and on her leggings are coloured with metallic markers from the same family.

I have used tons of flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and the metal corners comes from them as well. I need a refill of those really soon. LoL The designer papers are from Panduro. I raised the border a bit by putting some foam squares under one of the edges and the glued the rest of the panel down.

Ok, my friends. I hope you all join in the challenge over at Paper Crafting Journey. I sure would if I was you. :)

Love n hugs
Marie
