Boys are back in town

Morning and hello! I am back again, twice the same week! Today it's Wednesday and it's Winter vacation for the kids for one week. Well, yesterday we had 7 degrees celicius and not very much of what you call snow. Today is my olderst home and relaxing while my youngest went to play floorball with his youth recreation center. Each year every one of the YRC meet up in a tournament and even if Philip doesn't play regular he decided to go along and have some fun. He is one of those magic kids were it doesn't matter what kind of ball he plays with, it still looks easy. My oldest is way more lazy even if he is off to practise soccer as I write this.

Well, it's time for a new challenge over at the Paper Shelter again and we have the theme of "Boys are back in town". That means we want to see a card for a male during this week. The Paper Shelter have some fabby new ones in their store so please do check them out. The newest one is an motorbike mechanic. Quite cool!

I have used the image called Businessman. He looks very young but I bet he is one of those brats that just do want they want and it goes well. LoL. Anyhow, it was great fun to colour this image and I have done that with my Letraset Markers and a few brown pens. The dp's are from Fancy Pants Swagger. The colours of these papers are stunning however a few of the dp's are quite hard getting real use from but I do my best.  If you look closly at the stars you can see that they have some human hands on them as I used a sizzix die to cut the stars and I wanted them to be brown and the best brown there was was on a dp with lots of men with hats on them. But they work as stars as well, don't they.

As always when it comes to our challenges over at the Paper Shelter do you have the chance of winning a gift voucher worth $30 if you play with a Paper Shelter image. Playing with a different brand gives you the chance of collecting three digis of your choice.

And this is all from me for today. Now will I go back to my fun inks and write a letter or two. Do you know that it is International Correspondance month? Everyone deserve a handwritten letter from time to time. Have you written any lately? I have been really good this month and written 12 letters so far and everyone of them is to different penpals of mine all over the world. At least this correspondance month have got me to catch up with almost everyone of my pen pals. I still have a week left to finish the whole thing off.

Take care and do what makes you happy!

Something new

Morning and hello! Time pass by fast and it's once again time for a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers. This time our challenge is set by Ali and the theme is "Something new". Nice and easy, right? I have tons of unused stamps that I try to use as many of as I can at the moment. I will probably have to keep making cards the next 10 years or so without buying any new ones if this will come to an end but I keep working on that project.

Sponsoring this challenge is is Digi stamp boutique. They are offering one happy winner a gift voucher worth £10.

I have used two new stamps this time, well one stamp set from Lawn Fawn and one Magnolia Tilda. It's Tilda London or something like that, and the Lawn Fawn kit is from up in the air something in that area. Nice and easy to use. I really love the Lawn Fawn stamps and dies but I have had cut these ballons. Have no dies for that set.

I think I have been in my Echo Park stash for dp's here, quite some old pads but I don't remember what names they have.  But I do love them, probably why I have not used them before. Hoarded the good stuff instead of using it, but as someone said. Hoarding them in boxes doesn't make the papers pretty, it's when they are used they are to die for.

I have decorated with "some" glossy accent and an overflow with fluid enamel dots here. Too much fun to use at the moment. And I kind of see april showers infront of me when I look at this Tilda. A shower here, a shower there.

To have a chance of winning this weeks lovely prize you need to colour with you promarkers or trias, then you are good to go.

I hope you will come and play with us and take a chance of winning this weeks prize.

Take care and do what makes you happy!

Love n hugs

Anything goes Christmas

Morning and hello! It's time for a new little post from me. I am sorry that it's so quite around here, but for now I am only posting when I feel up to it or have and dt-shows. I don't want to miss out on my dt-creations so I try to make those first hand. If any time left after that I can do what ever I feel like. LoL

This is my first dt-creation for the Winter Wonderland this year. I should have posted one earlier but got really sick and that kind of fell of the wagon. It's a sad challenge as we are paying tribute to our dt-leader and blogowner over at the Winter Wonderland, Eileen who sadly passed away 29th of January. RIP sweet Eileen it was an honor to have you on my design team over at the Paper Shelter, working with you over at Passion for Promarkers and have you as my boss here at the winter wonderland.

To honor Eileen have we decided to have the theme of "Anything Christmas". So show us all that you have when it comes to Christmas creations. You don't even have to think about a subject; just X-mas.

I have used an image that I got from a blogging friend for Christmas and the lovely circle die is also from the lovely Annelie. Who will when she least expect it get a surprise in the mail.😊

The cute image is coloured with my Letraset markers and fussy cut around it to fit it into the lovely wintery die cut. The designer papers are from Maja Design and the cardstock is Basil Vanilla white. The die is cut in white glitter cardstock. The board is cut with a Martha Stewart punch and the letter stickers are from Panduro. I decided to decorate the card with some star shaped wood pieces. A way to honor Eileen who's nick was Star.

They also host regular craft classes here on the Wirral - take a look at the website if you fancy a fun day out with good company and lots of card making. The blog is found here.
So that is all from me for today. I wish you a wonderful weekend and make a Christmas card and come joining us honoring Eileens (crafting-)life,

For a special moment

Morning and hello! I am back again with another dt-creation. It's time for a new challenge over at the Paper Shelter and this weeks theme is set to "For a special moment"- That could be birthday, New Year, Christmas, marriage, new baby etc. It's your pick but be kind and tell us clearly about what the special occasion is for your creation.

I have used one of the newer digi stamps from the Paper Shelter for this challenge and it's called "Best bro ever". I don't know anyone that is pregnant at the moment. Well I do, but they have two girls before so I can't used it for them. But I thought I would try to use more of the newer digis this year and show case them. I am sure I will get this used sooner or later.

It's coloured with my Letraset markers and trias on nennah card. I am not that fond of it and I am trying yet another kind of paper at the moment but I have not managed to figure out how "the wall" is working just yet. My feeling is that the colours lays itself over the paper and doesn't blend that well. But on the other hand do I not think that it does on nennah either. The colours on the wall is also darker so I have to figure out another combo for skin otherwise everyone will look as they have been sun bathing a little too much. But this is still nennah...

I have used a paper pad from Gliz again and also found this on sale. I adore the colours and the fun song sayings that is on some of the dp's. It's a lovely pad and I like the wonderful burned orange and ligth teal and turquoise that the pad comes with. I managed to rip a bit of the dp's when the glue got the hold of the dp a little to early so some heart to cover that part up and the repeat it makes it look like it's just the way it should look. A few dew drops in light blue is the only decoration on the card . I have some space where I can write out a congrats or what will be suitable when the day come to use it but for now I leave it blanc and I don't think it's that hard to figure out that the card is made to send some love for a new parent to be, or for a big brother to be.

As always we have our $30 voucher up for grabs when you play with us. Playing with another brand gives you the chance to win three digis of your choise.

Anyway this is all from me for today. I wish you a wonderful day and now it's time for me to call the vet again and see how the cat is doing.

Take care and do what makes you happy!

I (heart) you

Morning and hello! So sorry that it's so much time in between my postings nowdays. I have to cut down a bit on my crafting time because of my shoulders and back and that keeps me away from my computer as well. But hopefully things will get better when I really get in to my work out that is to make my back more straight and stronger. Go me!

But this week do I have a card made for the Passion for Promarker challenge. Way to go Marie! It was such fun to sit and colour and cut some paper again. I also cut my finger which was not as much fun. Oh well, s... happens. The time of the week is "I heart you" and that means that we want to see some hearts on your creations. Also don't forget to use the Letraset/promarkers on your creation.

I have used a TPS image called Give me a kiss. It's one of the little older TPS images but oh so cute it is. Nice and fun to colour as well. I am also back to my favourite colour combo with red, black and white. I totally adore that combo and I managed to find a few bargins when January started. A paper pad from Gliz that is called "Black and white". It's filled with fabby black and white papers with a dash of red here and there. I should have bought more than two pads. They where only 20 skr each, that will be around two or three $ or so. Perfect pad at a perfect price. LoL

I have used many layers on this card, I even had to remove a few of them as the image didn't fit into the card, but it looks ok anyway. Nice and kind of clean. The only thing extra I added to this card was a die cut heart. I used a die from Lawn Fawn for that. I cut two of them added the black one as a shadow to the red one. It looks fairly ok, and it does work perfect with the image.

We have a sponsor for this challenge as well and that is Cowling & Wilcox who is offering a Promarker set for one lucky winner. I wish you all the best of luck in the challenge and don't forget to use your promarkers to have a chance of winning!

Now time to call the vet and check on my old cat, his in for "service" as he had a bit of a crash last week and stopped eating and drinking. We was home over the weekend and started to eat again but not enough to be able to stay at home for a longer time. His vet is soon going on a two weeks vacation so she really needs to get him well up on his feets again before she leaves. I don't trust anyone else with him. Keep your fingers crossed for my little sweet heart.

Take care and do what makes you happy!

Love n hugs
Marie
