Christmas birds or animals

Good morning and hello! It's finally time for a new challenge over at the Winter Wonderland. This time do we want to see your christmas cars with animals or birds on them. It shouldn't be that hard so start creating!
Sponsoring us this time is Kitty Bee Design

The prize this week is one digi of winners choice

“Aloha! My name is Ruth, and I’m the owner/illustrator of Kitty Bee Designs, out of beautiful Hawaii. After a long day of staring at numbers, doodling at night was my way of relaxing. I have always been a "card maker at heart, and a "paper hoarder," but could never find that "perfect" rubber stamp design. Kitty Bee Designs was created to fill the need for simple and whimsical stamp designs. These stamps were specifically made to bring a smile to the creator and receiver of these cute stamp designs. I hope you enjoy them as much as we (the lovely design team) do here at Kitty Bee Designs.

We offer our all our images in digital format, and some even make it to limited-run clear stamps!! You can find our images in our Etsy Store and wonderful inspiration + super fun challenges on our blog!! Come swing by and say hello!!!”

There is some lovely images in the store so if you haven't payed them a visit please do.

For my card have I used the sweet little Santa Kal-Bee and as I really didn't know how to use just one little cow, I made a little row of them. They are social cows, are they not? You very seldom see just one of them, right? I coloured them with my markers from Letraset nowdays Winsor & Newton.

I used some left overs from my Magnolia designer papers that is so hard to match up with others because of the look of the paper they are printed on with some nice structure but no one else has it and it looks kind of messy with the normal dp's. But here I could use it all alone. 😊 I have also used some gold foil card stock to match up the bells. To add some interest to the card have I cut the muzzles of the cows and added extra foamdots below. They also hold the bells in place.

The sentiment is die cut with a die from Lawn Fawn. Three layers of black cardstock and one with gold. Maybe I should have added a few notes as well but that will be for next time I guess.

I hope that you will come and join us over at the Winter Wonderland and get a card or two done for Christmas. It's here sooner than you think.

Anyway, take care and do what makes you happy!

Love n hugs
Marie

Birthday girl

Morning and hello! Time for a new challenge over at the Paper Shelter this morning. Our theme is nice and easy. We are making cards for birthday girls. We had some trouble with power breaks in the house yesterday so I have not be able to take any photos of my card just yet, but as soon as I get home tomorrow I will have it up for you all.

In the meanwhile you'll have to read all about it. 😉 I have used the updated version of Cool Lolly which you find here. I love the style of this image and it's an image that makes me happy when I see it so I thought it is fitting for a birthday card. I have coloured with my Letraset markers and trias as well... Wonder how long those will last?

The designer papers are from Glitz, but I don't remember the name of the pad. I love the pastels in their paper pads. Really nice ones and paired up great with some black from time to time. The design is simple yet again as I am away during the days and have not really gotten used to that just yet. Slowly I get there. Back to the card... I have used my favourite foam letters from Panduro to spell out congratulation in Swedish and have just added a few ballons made with a Marianne die as decoration. Nice and simple and not too heavy so as cheep as it can be to send in the mail.

Well, this is all for now. I wish you a wonderful day!

Have fun and do something that makes you happy!

Love n hugs
Marie

Girl power

Morning and hello! Tuesday again and a new challenge up over at Passion for Promarkers. This week's theme is set to "Girl Power" and it will be a great pleasure to see what you create for this challenge. As always when taking part in our challenges over at PFP you will need to use your promarkers to colour or their old cousins, the trias.

Sponsoring this challenge is A day for daisies offering a gift voucher worth $12. So hurry up and create some fabby card or what ever your passion is about and you have the chance of winning this lovley prize.

As I was way ahead creating my card have I used and old image that I love beacuse it is very much the 50ths for me, and also very much my granny. Not that she looked anything like this. She was tiny and more of the round shaped... But she did rule! Gosh! I really miss her!

So coloring done with my markers, mostly trias as I like the nibs better on those markers and I wish they was on the market again as well as the fabby colouring paper that Letraset had even if it was expensive. Lots of missing today... Oh well, I don't remember what the image is called but it's from Kenny K's. I fussy cut this image and had it printed quite large acually. The card Is about 15 cm square and the image is almost full sized to that.

I used some of my fave dp from Magnolia, Sweden. I love this chess paper. Goes so well with everything and I would used it more if it was not in that kind of paper that doesn't match up any other brand. A few stars decorate the card. It felt powerful to me. One of them has a metalic border around it. A few enamel dots give some extra detail and the round shapes softens the card design a bit. The sentiment is written by my grand dads old marking "machine".

Well, this is all from me for today. I wish you a lovely day and I see you back here tomorrow as it's time for a new challenge over at the Paper Shelter.

Take care and do what makes you happy!

Circles/dots and or stripes

Morning and hello! Hope you have a great week so far... Hmm it feels like I wrote this just a second ago and I probably did, over at the Paper Shelter challenge blog. We have a new theme starting today and by the title of my post today you get our theme. Circles/dots and/or stripes. I should not be that hard as you can use some die cut circles to cut your image, some striped dp's or maybe a bunch of layered washi tape lines and you have your stripes. You get the idea.

http://www.thepapershelter.com/

As always we have a gift voucher up worth $30 when you play with the Paper Shelter brand. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning 3 digis of your choice.

I love my circles, well I love geometric shapes and try hard not to line up everything in "perfect" rows. Trying to be a bit more playfull or how I should put it. It's not going that well so far, but hey practise makes perfect. LoL

For my card today have I used one of the funky boy images that the Paper Shelter has provided lately and it's called "Urban and modern boy". He is coloured with a mix of Promarkers and Tria-makers. And as always when there is some reflextions or glass on the image I am there with my glossy accent as I love the effect and I think it gives that something extra even if the rest of the card is without any texture.

The designer papers for this card is from Simple Stories and it's a mix of different digital packs. And as I printed them a while back I am not sure which packs they are from. The main part of them is probably from "Say Cheese". The circle dies I have used is from Lawn Fawn and the letters are ones again from Panduro. Love both the size and the font of these foam letters.

Ok then, this is all from me for today. Now it's time for me to listen to a book for while and hopefully will this snow melt away during the day. Hopefully will I be able to get some cross stitch sewing done, and maybe a little bit of colouring. Then tonight it's time for a meal out as my "hubby" has his birthday.

Take care and do something that makes you happy!

Love n hugs

It's a boy!

Morning and hello! It's time for a new fun challenge over at Passion for Promarkes. This week's challenge is set by Eileen and is our memory challenge of her. She's still very missed by us all. Anyway, here theme was set to "It's a boy" and that what we are going with this week. As long as the card is for a male I think you will be fine and don't forget to colour with your promarkes you have also a chance of winning this weeks prize.

Our sponsor this week is Sasayaki Glitter and they are offering 1 digi image to one lucky winner of this challenge.

I have for once use a sponsor image and it's called Shy in the sky. Cute image and lots of fun to colour
in. I like the bold lines. Easy and fun to colour. It was a bit hard to photo today as we have a snowstorm
at the momement and it's an going one. Second day now and it's really windy. Anyway, I have coloured
this little mister and his pet and plane with my promarkers and fussy cut them out. My dp is from a
digital Echo park kit. Sorry I don't know which one. The window on the place and Sky's glasses is
covered with some glossy accent. The foam letters are from Panduro Hobby. The cloud die is from
Gummiapan here in Sweden.

Well my friends. This is all from me for today. I wish you all the best and hope that you will take part in Eileen's last challenge. It's nice easy and fun and don't forget to use your letraset markers pro or tria ones.

Take care and do something that makes you happy.

Ribbon and or lace

Morning and hello, or rather good afternoon. I am running a bit late here today as the week has been hard on me with more pain again but it will ease soon I hope. I tripped on our porch that we are rebuilding and hit a foot and a knee quite bad. I also got a "bit" too much weight too fast when that happened. I give it another week and if it doesn't heal during this time, here come I come Mr/Mrs Doctor!

Oh well, had an appointment with a physiotherapist in the morning as well. Not for me this time, my elder has problem with feet and knees, especially during soccer season. So now I am over and out how to speak.

We have a new challenge over at Winter Wonderland today. The theme is ribbon and/or lace. Nice and easy for you all we hope. For this challenge are we very appropriate sponsored by
