Let it shine

Morning and hello! How are you? Hope you're having a great week so far. Here it's ok but I feel a bit tired from all the pain. Got some help last week from a lady who is specialist when it comes to feet and how we use them. She will tell my so called docs that I really need the special treatment to my shoes that I have had the last 25 years. All of the sudden they didn't think I did need them. At least I now know that I have some support. She could at least help me with one pair of shoes so I won't have to walk in wet shoes during the winter. They are totally worn down. So a tiny victory and got some extra time to fight for my rights! LoL Glad I am not 75 and have to take this fight each and everytime the politicians decide that it looks better with got profit results than helping their patients. Sick and tired of it all.

Ok, card time! So much more fun for you. :) We have the theme of "Let it shine" this week over at Passion for Promakers. It's a great challenge to get a Christmas card or two done using some mirri board or whatever you can think of that shines, maybe one of those fun little lights that you can buy and pop into a card? I don't have any of those but I have tons of mirriboard both the soft version and it's not that shiny so the mirri version is used here together with some glitter board both in white and silver.

Marie - let it shine

I have used a fun and charming image from the Paper Shelter called Running for Christmas. Isn't that the cutest mousie you ever have seen? He is coloured with my Letraset/Winsor & Newton markers. I have also used a few coloured pencils for extra shading. When they stopped making the trias I lost a bunch of shading options when they run out. I want the trias back, pronto! I want all of my gray scale markers back. I love them all!

The designer papers are from Carta Bella called Christmas delivery. A nice and quite bold paper pad. Love the green/black coloured dp. It's smashing! I used a few of my left over die cuts that I always save for times like this. Until I can buy a tiny cutting mashine that can have it's place on my desk, I will keep cutting tons at once. Some pearls are used for decore and dimension as well as a snowflake charm. Some twine that I really need to use up and some pearly stars as well. The letterstickers are from my stash and the distressed stamps in the back ground are from LOTV and from Prima. The bulb is coloured as the rest of the image and then some golden glitter pen for the gold and the bulb is covered in glossy accents and the when it still was wet I poured some lose glitter on to it. Nice and glittery shine to it all.

Sponsoring this challenge is Dies to die for and the prize up for offer is a gift voucher worth £15. How nice isn't that? So dig out your crafty stash and come on and play with us here at PFP. You have to use the Winsor & Newton former Letraset markers to have a chance of winning this fabbt prize.

Well then, this is all from me for today. I wish you a lovely week and do something that makes you happy!

Love n hugs
Marie

Love your card on the PfP blog. (Its missing here xx) Sorry to hear you hare having a battle about support. Its the same everywhere these days if you dont fight for your rights then you get nothing. So unfair on those who really struggle. Hope that things are better for you soon, Love Hazelxx
